Two individuals are now facing charges following a luggage theft where a believed to be pepper spray resulted in harm at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two robbery charges and charges for deploying a toxic agent, authorities have stated.

These accusations come after an probe of an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Earlier that day, two female travelers had their luggage taken after getting out of a parking garage elevator, authorities reported.

A toddler was among those injured during the incident. Five people required hospital care and were eventually allowed to go home.

This event – described by police as was isolated and not being treated as terrorism – led to disruptions to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a limited duration.
