The young golfer will have numerous well-known backers as she starts her professional golf debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a special exemption to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
The former president, an avid golfer, owns multiple international courses and frequently matches against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she revealed.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."
"My grandpa basically suggested to compete and relax," she added.
"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He can't make it this weekend. He's busy with running the country, so he's quite busy."
As an amateur, the golfer has competed in only three events in 2024 and holds ranking 461 in AJGA rankings.
But she can get advice from golf legend, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He is the top athlete worldwide," Kai expressed.
"And he's an even better person. He told me to go out there, have fun, and go with whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against multiple top competitors in the sport at the competition, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA mentioned that involving Kai exposes golf to wider groups, particularly with youth audiences.
The young star has millions of followers and has started her own apparel and wellness label.
Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
