Nearly 90 Flights Associated to Epstein Reportedly Landed at or Took Off from UK Airports
Analysis has found that nearly 90 aircraft journeys associated to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein allegedly landed at and took off from British airports, with some reportedly transporting British women who claim they were exploited by the found guilty sex offender.
Aviation Records Show Trail of Movement
The travel manifests were among a trove of legal papers and files made public by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been disclosed over the previous twelve months. The review uncovered 87 flights linked to Epstein – featuring many that were previously unknown – arriving or departing from British airfields between the start of the 1990s and 2018.
Onboard Individuals and Post-Conviction Travel
Unidentified “females” were documented among the passengers flying to and from the UK. Significantly, 15 of these flights involving the UK took place subsequent to Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting sex from a underage person.
“It was ‘shocking’ that there had never been a ‘thorough probe in the UK’ into his operations in the country,” remarked American attorneys acting for hundreds of Epstein survivors.
British Victims and Court Cases
A statement from one of the British victims aided the conviction of Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. But, that individual has not received any contact by British law enforcement, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.
In a statement, the London's Metropolitan Police said they had “not been provided with any further evidence that would support restarting the investigation.” They commented, “If new and relevant evidence be brought to our attention, encompassing any arising from the release of documents in the US, we will assess it.”
Continuing Disclosure and Judicial Decisions
A bill to release every document held by the American government in concerning Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to comply. A vast number of documents are anticipated to be released.
Separately, a federal judge ruled last week that the DOJ could publicly release case files from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime confidante, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence over the allegations.
